After KCSE results are released, it is accompanied by a detailed performance report of top students, national schools’ performance, and any mistakes or irregularities that might have occurred. These performance reports are usually published on the KNEC website and may be available over the news.

After checking your results, the next step is to decide on where next to take your career. There are options for you.

• Join University or College Education: Candidates who met the necessary grades can proceed to join a university or college. There are HELB bursaries and loans to support students in obtaining tertiary education, and application can be done through KUCCPS or directly through the university/college.
• Apply for Vocational training and diploma courses: Vocational training and diploma courses provide students with practical skills in a particular field. Other courses in this regard may include: short courses, and bridging courses.
