NSFAF Appeal Form 2024 – Request for reassessment
NSFAF Appeal Form 2024 for reassessment application is now available. Interested rejected applicants that may want to request an appeal are advised to send request before due date.
The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) provide financial assistance to students. NSFAF financial assistance can be in form of a Loan or Grant to enable students study or do research. When considering credibility for funding, preference is given to students in public institutions, local private, SADC and international institutions.
While some may be approved for funding, others may be rejected by NSFAF. Applicants who were not approved may appeal where and where there is an alleged error on the part of NSFAF. After appealing, your Application will be reassessed through an administrative query process once an appeal request is sent.
Some valid reasons why you should appeal:
An appeal will be considered where and when there is an alleged error of judgement on the part of NSFAF ( i.e. miscalculations of points, documents validations, policy deviation, etc.)
However, Applicants rejected due to income above threshold, if the parents are paying for another sibling at the university or vocational institution, who is not a NSFAF beneficiary, they should attach the following documents mentioned in next subheading when submitting an appeal: (scan all the three documents together and attach them)
NSFAF Appeal Form Request Process for 2024
Once a query has been re-assessed, NSFAF will respond to the student in writing or via the student portal. Depending on your appeal you may have to attach full birth certificate of the sibling (who the parents are paying for), Proof of registration for 2024 for the sibling, and Namibian ID for the sibling
- Begin your appeal by visiting NSFAF appeal page
- Enter your NSFAF ID, Namibian ID number, reason for appeal
- Upload necessary documents to support your appeal
- Click “SUBMIT”
