The Application was postponed to open 20th September 2024, and you can be approved for funding. Supporting documents are not even required except for special cases, the entire process can be completed with your phone.

What NSFAS Bursary Covers

The funding covers the cost of the following: Registration, Tuition Fees, and learning materials Living allowance Personal care allowance Transport or Accommodation Living/Personal and Transport allowances are not part of the loan scheme funding.

NSFAS Application Requirements

Applicants must have combined household income that is between R350 001 and R600 000 per annum. However, persons living with disabilties may apply if they have a combined household income capped at R600 000 per annum.

NSFAS Declaration Form 2025

The declaration form is compulsory for applicants who are 34 years old or younger. This form is used to verify parental/guardian details.

Disability Anexure

A completed and signed Disability Annexure Form is required from applicants with disabilities. The medical report must be accompanied with this disability annexure in the file to be submitted with your application.

NSFAS Orphan or Vulnerable Child Declaration form

The Orphan or Vulnerable Child Declaration form is required from applicants who are under the age of 18 and who are orphans who are vulnerable children in that they have been exposed to abuse, neglect, exploitation, risk of violence and substance abuse.
