Egerton University Graduation List & Ceremony 2024
Egerton University graduation 2024 to be the 48th Graduation Ceremony which will take place on Friday 29th November 2024 starting at 9.00 a.m at Njoro Campus. This graduation ceremony is for ALL candidates who qualified for the conferment of various degrees and award of diplomas of Egerton University during the 2023/2024 academic year.
Confirmation of Egerton University Examination Results
The Authorities of Egerton University explicitly stated that every student must confirm their results. Egerton results can be confirmed by contacting respective Deans’ offices from Monday 2nd September 2024 or using the student portal.
Egerton University Graduation Application 2024
It is required that every prospective graduand admitted into the university since 2015 apply for graduation apply through their student portal as follows:
- Apply for clearance by Finance from the student portal under “Clearance application” by Friday, 4th October 2024.
- After clearance by Finance, you must apply for graduation under "Graduation application" by Friday, 18th October 2024.
Note: the Board of Post Graduate Studies and Finance Department clears prospective postgraduate graduands.
Application Procees for Graduands admitted in & before 2014
The process for prospective graduands who were admitted in and before 2014 is quite different, they are required to visit selfcare.egerton.ac.ke to fill online and download the “Application for Graduation Form.”
- You will receive the "Application for Graduation Form" via email after you create, activate and fill the form.
- This received form should be downloaded and three copies of the form printed to be submitted to the faculty during collection of certificates.

These fees MUST be paid through E-CITIZEN by every Graduands before applying for clearance by Finance. Log into the school's student portal, click on E-payment and proceed with payment.
Egerton University Graduation List 2024
The Provisional Graduation List to be posted on the University's website on Monday, 28th October 2024. However, the Final Graduation List/48th Graduation Booklet and Graduation Etiquette will be available on egerton.ac.ke/graduation from Monday, 25th November 2024.
Academic Attires
Academic Attires for the graduation will be available at respective faculties, all graduands are to download and complete relevant forms. Collection of graduation attires begins from Wednesday, 27th November, 2024. All hired gowns must be returned by Monday 16th December 2024. Failure to return gown on this date attracts a daily penalty of Kes. 500/=.
Graduation Rehearsal
There will be a rehearsal for All graduands who wish to participate in the ceremony and have paid all fees. The rehearsal holds on Thursday, 28th November 2024 at 9.00 a.m. All graduands for the rehearsal must be in complete academic attire.
