How to Repay your NSFAF Loans

The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund, NSFAS has been providing financial assistance to students in form of loans or grants. For those who received/receives funding from NSFAF, this article explains the process involved in repaying.

Below are the guidelines on How to Repay your NSFAF Loans.

Step 1: Consulting NSFAF

The first step in the loan repayment process is to consult the National Students Financial Aid Fund with the following documents:

  1. Complete contact details of your postal and residential addresses, actual and permanent residence.
  2. Your employer status details
  3. Loan/Grant deductions agreement consent form after the completion or cancellation of studies
  4. changes to employer status details

Step 2: Payments

The next steps is to send your payments to the following bank details:

Your payments can be sent through Direct Bank Deposits (Cash/Cheque Deposit), Salary Deductions, Debit Orders or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The last payment method can be very useful to students abroad.

Step 3: Provide Proof of Payment

On completing your payment through any of the aforementioned methods, you are to send a proof of payment to the NSFAF Recovery Division or e-mail at: recovery@nsfaf.na and you will be issued with your updated debtor’s account statement.
